Proof of Smoking Cessation Featured on Channel 12 News

By Anonymous

Greensboro, NC February 27, 2004 -- Affirmative Alternatives, a clinical counseling firm in Winston-Salem, NC, provided proof that hypnosis is an effective method for smoking cessation. In segment called "Mind Over Menthol", which was featured last Monday night on the WXII Channel 12 News, the hypnosis technique was documented in a special segment that ran approximately 4 minutes 35 seconds. A smoker was hypnotized by professional clinical counselor Lois Koufman of Affirmative Alternatives. Cameron Kent, who hosted this special feature, reported that the smoker ceased smoking immediately after the session and has remained smoke-free for two weeks.

Ms. Koufman, who received her M Ed. from Wake Forest University and is certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming is an expert in the use of hypnotherapy for smoking cessation, weight loss, phobias and stress management. She is available for interviews, speaking and seminar engagements.
